Planners Gonna Plan

Now is the time of year when we are creating our intentions for a business that is better, stronger, more profitable, and easier to manage.  Here are some to-dos to help move you to that next level of prosperity.

Set out concrete goals for business growth.

Would 5 more households be perfect, but 10 is too much?  Decide what will be the best balance for your personal and business health.

Create a spending plan including:

  • Estimated fixed expenses

  • Cushion for surprises

  • New technology

  • Room for creativity in employee engagement and client acquisition

  • Professional education

Choose professional growth goals

  • Attend a conference

  • Bring an expert in for all office training

  • Finish that certification you started eight years ago

  • Find a new (but useful!) specialist designation to obtain

Plan to enhance your clients’ experience.

  • Create a better onboarding process

  • More informative and regular communications

  • Webinar series

  • How about a customer appreciation event or two?

Pick two things to outsource.

  • Technology related tasks

  • Data entry

  • Social media

  • Creating and sending marketing content

  • Event planning

  • Planning employee birthday celebrations

  • Sending client birthday cards

  • Bookkeeping

Not all these ideas will apply to your business, but take some time to plan for growth, efficiency, and FUN!  It will help start your year off with a bang.
